Zusammenfassung:The present invention pertains to the field of fire-fighting technology and can be used for protecting equipment and persons when extinguishing fires, for dividing the volume of buildings in surface or underground structures or installations into fire-proof compartments, for providing protection against the collapse of ceiling structures and for locating the progression of the flame front in large-scale fires resulting in ecological disasters. The purpose of this invention is to develop a method for attenuating with an improved efficiency the energy flow consisting of light, heat and convection gas flows, and to develop a device of the gun-carriage type for creating a thermal-radiation protection screen which is more reliable, harmless and easy to implement and which provides protection against light radiation and convection gas flows. This method involves creating a curtain of a cooling liquid that is sprayed into space between surfaces. When creating more than one curtain, the method involves using a combined supply of cooling liquid. One of the curtains is formed by spraying the liquid, while the following curtains are formed by supplying an aerated mechanical or chemical foam. The device includes a mounting assembly, a spraying unit as well as grids arranged on both sides of a frame so as to define a gap. Nozzles are further mounted in the openings formed in the tubes of the frame. Cette invention se rapporte aux techniques de lutte contre les incendies, et peut être utilisée afin de protéger des équipements et des personnes lors de l'extinction d'incendies, afin de diviser le volume de bâtiments de structures au sol ou souterraines et d'installations en compartiments anti-feu, afin d'assurer une protection contre l'effondrement de plafonds, et afin de localiser la progression du front des flammes lors d'incendies de grande ampleur qui entraînent des catastrophes écologiques. Cette invention a pour but d'élaborer un procédé qui permette d'atténuer avec une plus grande efficacité le flux d'énergie se présentant sous forme de lumière, de chaleur et de flux de gaz convecteurs. Cette invention a également pour but d'élaborer un dispositif de type canon sur affût permettant de former un écran de protection contre les rayonnements thermiques qui soit plus fiable, qui soit sans danger et facile à mettre en oeuvre, et qui offre une protection contre les rayonnements lumineux et les flux de gaz convecteurs. Ce procédé consiste à former un rideau d'un liquide de
