Zusammenfassung:Process for the industrial production of beta -hydroxyalkyl amides comprising: a) reaction of a dicarboxylic organic acid with a glycol to obtain the corresponding polyester; b) reaction of the polyester obtained in stage a) with a beta -hydroxyalkyl amine to obtain the corresponding beta -hydroxyalkyl amide. Cette invention concerne un procédé de production industrielle d'amides de beta -hydroxyalkyle comprenant a) la mise en réaction d'un acide organique dicarboxylique avec un glycol de façon à obtenir le polyester correspondant et b) la mise en réaction du polyester obtenu à l'étape a) avec une amine de beta -hydroxyalkyle de façon à obtenir l'amide de beta -hydroxyalkyle correspondant.
