ANALGESIC AGENT TETRALGIN AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

The present invention pertains to the field of medicine, more precisely to that of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, and relates to the production of drug preparations having an analgesic and antipyretic effect. This analgesic agent named "Tetralgin" includes analgin, a puric alkaloid based on caffeine, phenobarbital, an opium alkaloid based on codeine and several additional substances selected according to predetermined proportions in order to make tablets. The method for producing the analgesic agent "Tetralgin" involves mixing the components, humidifying the mass obtained using a starch-containing paste, granulating the same, drying it and shaping it into tablets. The method involves mixing a portion of the powdered starch, the analgin, the puric alkaloid and the phenobarbital, preparing the paste from the remaining portion of starch and from the opium alkaloid, and humidifying the mass obtained at a temperature of 40 to 60 DEG C. The "Tetralgin" agent is a low-toxicity and non-narcotic analgesic which can be used for treating patients suffering from pains of various origins. Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la médecine, notamment à celui de l'industrie chimique et pharmaceutique, et concerne la production de préparations médicamenteuses qui ont un effet analgésique et antipyrétique. Cet agent analgésique dénommé /= comprend de l'analgine, un alcaloïde purique à base de caféine, du phénobarbital, un alcaloïde d'opium à base de codéine, et des substances auxiliaires choisies dans des proportions prédéterminées afin de former des cachets. Le procédé de production de l'agent analgésique Tetralgine consiste à mélanger les composants, à humidifier la masse obtenue à l'aide d'une pâte contenant de l'amidon, à la granuler, la sécher, et à la mettre sous forme de cachets. On mélange une partie de l'amidon en poudre, l'analgine, l'alcaloïde purique et le phénobarbital, on prépare la pâte à partie de la partie restante d'amidon et de l'alcaloïde d'opium, puis l'on humidifie la masse obtenue à une température de 40 à 60 DEG C. L'agent Tetralgine consiste en un analgésique faiblement toxique et non narcotique qui permet de traiter des malades souffrant de douleurs d'origines diverses.
