The hub is formed from a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion substantially matching the coefficient of thermal expansion of the optical fiber. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fibre optique comprenant un noyau qui supporte un enroulement. L'enroulement est effectué à l'aide d'une fibre optique possédant un certain coefficient de dilatation. Le noyau est formé d'un matériau dont le coefficient de dilatation correspond pratiquement au coefficient de dilatation de la fibre optique.
