Zusammenfassung:	One inventive aspect is a liquid crystal display panel. The panel includes an array substrate and an opposite substrate. Each of the array substrate and the opposite substrate include a display area and a non-display area. The panel also includes a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the array substrate and the opposite substrate, a first alignment layer disposed on a surface of the array substrate facing the liquid crystal layer, and a second alignment layer disposed on a surface of the opposite substrate facing the liquid crystal layer. The first and second alignment layers define a first orientation direction in the display area, and the non-display area includes at least one electrode line. The first and second alignment layers also define a second orientation direction at least in the non-display area corresponding to the electrode line.
