Zusammenfassung:	The display device comprises a display panel, a light source, an optical plate being arranged to face the display panel and diffusing or guiding the light from the light source, and an optical sheet arranged on one surface of the optical plate, and further comprises a pressing part pressing an edge of the optical sheet, and a facing part coordinating with the pressing part and having a facing surface facing an end surface of the optical plate. The facing surface is slanting so that the distance between the facing surface and the end surface decreases toward the display panel.
