Zusammenfassung:	An image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a determination unit and a display control unit. The determination unit that determines whether an X-ray image serving as a first image is to be displayed as a moving image or a still image and a second image is to be displayed as a moving image or a still image according to display states of the images. The display control unit that controls a display unit to display thereon at least any one of superimposed images of a combination of a moving image and a moving image, a combination of a moving image and a still image, and a combination of a still image and a moving image of the X-ray image and the second image, according to the determination made by the determination unit.
