Zusammenfassung:An electronic device and a method for converting an image format object to a text format object are provided. The method includes selecting a region within an object displayed on a first screen; converting an image format object included inside the selected region to a text format object; and displaying the converted text format object on a second screen as an object that is inputtable to an input window of the second screen.
