Zusammenfassung: | A device, such as an electrowetting display device, includes a first substrate and a second substrate opposite to the first substrate. A pixel region is on the first substrate. The device includes an input line for applying a driving voltage to a capacitor associated with the pixel region to control a luminance of the pixel region, wherein, after the driving voltage is applied to the capacitor, the pixel region exhibits a reduction in a luminance of the pixel region over time. An illumination device is configured to illuminate at least a portion of the pixel region. A timing controller is configured to modify an output of the illumination device to compensate for the reduction in the luminance of the pixel region over time. |
