Sulfated oligohydroxycarboxylic acid esters, and use thereof

Sulfated oligohydroxycarboxylic acid esters have the general formula (I): wherein at least one of the radicals A is -SO3B. Cosmetic and pharmaceutical agents contain said esters. These esters are effective as anionic surfactants.
