Zusammenfassung:	Devices and methods for increasing and maximizing power efficiency in polar and Cartesian transmitters are provided. By way of example, an electronic device includes a transmitter configured to receive an in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) signal, generate an amplitude envelope signal based on the I/Q signal, decompose the amplitude envelope signal into an envelope amplitude portion and an envelope phase portion, and to dynamically switch between performing a polar modulation of the I/Q signal and performing an I/Q modulation of the I/Q signal based at least in part on an amplitude value of the envelope phase portion.
