Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a mobile terminal having an image capturing function and a method of controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes: a camera; a display unit configured to output a preview image received through the camera; and a control unit configured to, when a portion of a region on which the preview image is output is selected, output a pop-up window including the preview image corresponding to the portion, in a state in which the preview image is output, wherein when a preset type of touch is applied to the pop-up window, the control unit may magnify or reduce the preview image corresponding to the portion in the pop-up window.
