Zusammenfassung:	A transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) device for the treatment of migraine headaches which includes at least one capacitor as well as a charging circuit for charging the capacitor contained in the TMS device. A magnetic coil delivers a magnetic pulse upon discharge of the capacitor. Inner and outer end wire segments of the magnetic coil are oriented parallel to a direction of magnetic field lines of the magnetic pulse.
