Zusammenfassung:Disclosed herein is a display device for determining whether or not ghost exists in a unit of a block to perform ghost cancellation, and a control method of the display device. According to an embodiment, the display device includes: a screen configured to display an image; a calculator configured to partition the screen into a plurality of blocks and determine whether or not ghost exists in at least one block of the blocks; and a controller configured to cancel ghost existing in the at least one block in response to the calculator determining that the ghost exists in the at least one block of the blocks.
