Zusammenfassung:	A hedge trimmer having a drive motor, a gear mechanism, and a blade arrangement with at least one cutter bar, which is driven in a reciprocating manner by the drive motor via the gear mechanism in a longitudinal direction. The blade arrangement includes a guide mechanism that extends over at least a part of the length of the blade arrangement. The guide mechanism is embodied as a molded part that includes a generally flat fastening portion and a profiled guide portion. The cutter bar is longitudinally movably held on the guide portion.
