Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure discloses an apparatus and a method for detecting first and subsequent drops of follicle fluid falling into a test tube during an aspiration process. A pair of optical devices (emitter and detector) is positioned at opposite side of the test tube. The emitter emits a beam of light towards the detector. As soon as a drop of the follicle fluid falls into the test tube, a signal processing circuitry detects a change in intensity of the light received by the detector. Further, the intensity of beam is compared with a pre-defined intensity. Based on the comparison, if the difference between the pre-defined intensity and intensity is greater than a pre-defined threshold value, the signal processing circuitry generates an electrical signal indicating the detection of the first drop of the follicle fluid falling into the test tube. |
