Zusammenfassung:Systems and methods for encoding information in a preamble used in a frequency agile radio network are disclosed. In one example, a method comprises creating a plurality of preamble patterns, wherein each preamble includes an N bit header and M bit body, wherein N and M are integers greater than two. The method further comprises identifying the preamble patterns that have headers with a bit pattern that cannot occur in the body, wherein the preamble has a run length no greater than P bits, wherein P is an integer greater than one.
