The pumping system includes a pump, a reservoir separate from and upstream of the pump for storing cooling fluid, and plumbing downstream of the pump configured to maintain cooling fluid in the reservoir during non-operation of the pump. The reservoir and plumbing configuration minimize dry run time of the pump.
