Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for operating an AVN (Audio, Video and Navigation) monitor for a vehicle may include a belt guider which is installed in an accommodation space of a dashboard and around which a belt, moving in a longitudinal direction of the belt guider, is wound, a guide rail fixed to the belt guider and extending in the longitudinal direction of the belt guider, a monitor hinge connected to the belt and engaged to the guide rail and an end of a connection bracket so as to move along the guide rail, wherein the connection bracket is connected to the AVN monitor, and a driving force transmission gear engaged with the belt to move the belt in the longitudinal direction.
