Zusammenfassung:	A telescopic axle assembly includes a knuckle housing pivotally mounted to a vehicle frame. The knuckle housing projects therefrom. A rotary drive shaft extends through the knuckle housing and the sleeve. A first wheel hub housing is slidably coupled to the knuckle housing and has a bore which slidably receives the sleeve. A second wheel hub housing is rotatably mounted to the first wheel hub housing. A transmission transmits torque between the drive shaft and the second wheel hub housing. Hydraulic cylinders move the wheel hub housings with respect to the knuckle housing and the drive shaft.
