Zusammenfassung:	A method of processing a signal in a hearing aid (50), the method comprising the steps of determining a gain vector applied in a number of individual frequency bands, determining a gradient of a speech intelligibility measure as a function of the gain vector, modifying the value of the gradient and using the modified value of the gradient to optimize both speech intelligibility and listening comfort. The invention also provides a hearing aid (50).
