Zusammenfassung:	A method for pairing a mobile communications device card located within a mobile device with the mobile device, comprising the steps of accessing a first identifier associated with the mobile device responsive to actuation of the mobile device. Next, a comparison of the first identifier associated with the mobile device is made with a second identifier associated with the mobile communications device card. Authorization of the operation of a combination of the mobile communications device card and the mobile device is made responsive to the comparison determining the first and second identifiers match. Operation of the combination of the mobile communications device card and the mobile device is disabled responsive to the comparison determining the first and second identifiers do not match.
