Zusammenfassung:PBI-based MEAs for high temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) were prepared by direct hot pressing of catalyst layer on Teflon sheets on to both sides of phosphoric acid doped PBI membrane (decal transfer). These MEAs show two times higher performance compared to the MEAs prepared by normal brush coating method on GDL at an operating temperature of 160° C.
