Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are wearable indicator devices and methods of using same. The device is a head-mounted device for detecting an alert condition and providing an alert to a user. The device has a display unit with one or more LEDs and a driver circuit configured to control the brightness of the one or more LEDs. The device also has a control unit having a microprocessor, a memory buffer in electronic communication with the microprocessor, a microphone in electronic communication with the microprocessor, and a radio transceiver configured to interface with an external computing system. The microprocessor can be configured to gather audio samples from the microphone, analyze one or more gathered audio samples for an alert condition, transmit the alert condition, and control the LEDs based on the alert condition.
