Spaces or gaps present between the dishwashing appliance and the cabinetry in which it is installed can be blocked by features having one or more chambers that attenuate the transmission of sound therefrom. Such sound abatement features can be readily incorporated into the design of a dishwashing appliance and provide a relatively inexpensive alternative to conventional designs. |
