Zusammenfassung:	A user device for presenting eBooks generates a navigation history that allows a user to easily navigate to previously accessed positions within the eBook. The navigation history can be stored on an eBook server and shared with other user devices used by the same user. The navigation history may be generated by receiving actions regarding navigation within the eBook, an action navigating from a current reading position within the eBook to a corresponding navigation position in the eBook; filtering the received actions and the corresponding navigation positions to produce a filtered list of navigation positions; storing the filtered list of navigation positions in a navigation history; presenting the navigation history to the user; receiving a request from the user to navigate to a selected one of the navigation positions from the navigation history; and presenting a portion of the eBook at the selected navigation position.
