Zusammenfassung:	A position encoder includes a sensor unit and an encoder unit configured to follow a motion of a lever by means of a pusher so as to enable the sensor unit to capture said motion. The encoder unit and the sensor unit include separate housings connected to each other. The connection between the housings of the encoder unit and the sensor unit is implemented by means of a hollow riveted connection with at least one fastening element configured to be guided into the hollow space thereof.
