Zusammenfassung:	A bowstring release mechanism includes first and second jaws pivotally connected to a housing with a trigger section operably associated with the jaws for moving the jaws between open and closed positions. The jaws include opposing faces that are in a juxtaposed relationship when the release mechanism is in a closed position. Due to deviations in manufacturing tolerances and wear, a gap between the jaw faces may vary in size. To that end, an adjustment portion is operably associated with the trigger and jaws for precisely adjusting the size of the gap. A second adjustment portion for adjusting the sensitivity of the trigger section is also provided.
