A cable interface platform determines at least one configuration of at least one cable associated with at least one device. The cable interface platform determines at least one function associated with one or more applications, one or more services, or a combination thereof associated with the at least one configuration. Then, the cable interface platform causes, at least in part, an initiation of the at least one function.
