A polarizing film, which is designed to correspond to the base, is arranged in the line of vision of an observer in front of the base. The polarizing film is held in position on the base in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner in an assembled state of the combination display instrument by corresponding molded sections in or on a housing of the combination display instrument.
