Zusammenfassung:	A system and method of redirecting messages between a mail system and a mobile communications device, upon determining an occurrence of a trigger event that is configured to initiate redirection of messages at the mail system with respect to the user, the system sets a redirection flag associated with the user. Upon detecting arrival of a new message at the mail system for the user, the system determines whether the redirection flag associated with the user is set and if the redirection flag is set, causes an instance of the new message to be packaged for transmission to the mobile communications device associated with the user.
