Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed herein is a battery cell configured such that at least one electrode assembly of a structure having a cathode, an anode, and a separator interposed between the cathode and the anode is mounted in a battery case, at least one heat dissipation member to dissipate heat generated in the electrode assembly during charge and discharge of the battery cell or upon occurrence of a short circuit is disposed in the electrode assembly and/or is in contact with an outer surface of the electrode assembly, and a portion of the heat dissipation member is exposed outward from the electrode assembly.
