Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A system for providing open session based selective broadcasting in an instant messaging system. The instant messaging system user is provided with a mechanism through which they can broadcast a user-defined message to the participants in all currently open instant messaging sessions with the user, or to the participants in a selected subset of currently open instant messaging sessions with the user. The system provides the ability to capture and save a list of the participants receiving a previously broadcast message. The captured participant list can be subsequently recalled and used to broadcast another user defined message when the interruption ends, and the user can resume participation in the sessions.
