Zusammenfassung:	A surface light-emitting device includes: a light guide plate including a notch; a reflection sheet including a notch; a point light source; a light-source substrate; a first chassis covering and extending along the light-source substrate and the lower surface of the light guide plate; a second chassis formed to fit with the first chassis; a liquid crystal panel put on the second chassis; and a third chassis covering the liquid crystal panel and a part of the first chassis on which the light-source substrate is put, and formed to fit with the first chassis on the part. The light-source substrate is fixed on the first chassis. The first chassis includes a protrusion to be engaged with the notches so as to be moved together with the light guide plate and the reflection sheet in response to a movement of the first chassis along the light guide plate.
