Zusammenfassung:	Described herein is a technology for facilitating complex event processing for moving objects. In some implementations, data associated with moving objects is received from multiple data sources. One or more constraints associated with an event-of-interest are determined. The event-of-interest that satisfies the one or more constraints is detected based on the data. A notification of the detected event-of-interest may then be sent. For purposes of illustration, some specific complex event processing scenarios based on maritime vessels have been presented to demonstrate the capabilities of the present framework.
