Zusammenfassung:	A precision densitometer for radiosensitive films and the like provides point-to-point scanning in which a laser source and collimated receiver are moved in tandem over the area of the film. The film may be supported only at its edges to remove scattering and interference caused by a glass support bed. Highly repeatable 25 μm resolution density measurements may be obtained.
