Zusammenfassung:	A method for the operation of a variable-speed wind turbine having pitch and torque control means that includes additional steps for providing to the torque control means, in case of an environmental situation where the air density is greater than a predetermined value ref, i.e. a situation combining low temperature and low height, a reduced nominal generator speed nr, instead of the rated nominal generator speed n, which is determined dynamically as a function of at least the air pressure Pr, the temperature T and the wind speed V, for decreasing the wind turbine loading. The invention also refers to a control system arranged for performing said regulation.
