Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a cage, for a rolling bearing, whose surface is silver-plated by using a barrel plating method capable of improving the durability thereof in a sliding test. In the cage, for the rolling bearing, made of an iron metal material and having a precious metal-plated layer formed on a surface thereof, the precious metal-plated layer is formed on a base plated layer formed on a surface of the iron metal material by using a barrel electroplating method. A surface of the base plated layer consists of a smooth surface. The precious metal-plated layer is in direct close contact with the smooth surface. The base plated layer consists of a metal having a higher ionization tendency than the precious metal formed on the surface of the base plated layer. A cavity is not present at an interface between the copper-plated layer and the silver-plated layer.
