Zusammenfassung:	According to an embodiment, a valve comprises: a valve member, wherein the valve member is made from a non-deformable material; a seat, wherein the seat: (A) is made from a non-deformable material; and (B) is positioned adjacent to the valve member; a seal, wherein the seal is created by the interaction between at least a portion of the seat and at least a portion of the valve member and a sealant; and at least one recess, wherein the at least one recess: (A) is located on the inside of the seat or the outside of the valve member; and (B) is capable of containing at least one particulate, wherein the valve is capable of being opened or closed via relative movement of the valve member and the seat.
