Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are methods and systems for creating a printer model which maps device dependent color space representations of reference colors to device independent color space representations of the reference colors for a direct marking color printer. According to an exemplary method, a plurality of printer models are initially generated, each printer model corresponding to a predetermined width associated with the cross-process direction of an image receiving surface.
