Zusammenfassung:	A steam power plant is provided. The steam power plant includes a bypass pipeline which connects the fresh steam line flow to the exhaust steam line, wherein a bypass steam cooler is disposed in the bypass pipeline. In the event of an emergency stop, or a startup, or a shutdown, the bypass steam cooler cools the steam flowing into the bypass pipeline, whereby cheaper materials may be used for the bypass pipeline.
