Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to a vibration absorber for a drive train of a motor vehicle, including an internal carrier which can be rotated around a rotation axis, a mass ring which is coaxial to the internal carrier and which is arranged at a radial distance from the internal carrier, and a plurality of spring elements which connect the internal carrier and the mass ring to each other. The mass ring has at least one radial profile formation on the inner circumferential surface thereof to provide sliding support in the circumferential direction and is provided with an elastomeric damping layer arranged between the internal carrier and the mass ring, the layer being designed such that the mass ring slides at least in the region of the at least one radial profile formation thereof in the circumferential direction on the internal carrier during a relative rotation.
