Zusammenfassung:	Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for skipping through electronic content displayed on an electronic device having a touchscreen display coupled to a processing engine. According to one embodiment, a multi-touch gesture is received from a user. Based on the user's multi-touch gesture, electronic content associated with digital media immediately advances to a subsequent section or immediately reverses back to a previous section of the digital media.
