Zusammenfassung:	Deinking of waste paper is obtained with the use of a hydrophobic kaolin-based deinking composition. The hydrophobic kaolin-based deinking composition is produced by hydrophobizing the kaolin clay and then blending the hydrophobic kaolin-based particles with a deinking surfactant. Separation and removal of ink is achieved either by washing deinking, flotation deinking or combination of these methods.
