Zusammenfassung:	A process is provided for starting an internal-combustion engine, particularly a Diesel engine, having an exhaust gas turbocharger and an inlet gas supply device with at least one compressed-air reservoir which is connected with an intake pipe of the internal-combustion engine. During the starting of the internal-combustion engine, additional air is blown from the inlet gas supply device into the intake pipe until a rotational speed of the internal-combustion engine reaches a previously definable idling speed.
