The invention further relates to the field of heterogeneous catalytic oxidation reactions, including the preparation of secondary amines by the catalytic oxidation of tertiary amines, such as the oxidation of an N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid to produce an N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine product.
