Zusammenfassung:	This application describes a jack for improving crosstalk attenuation. The jack has a housing, a foil at least partially surrounding the housing, wherein the foil is made up of a first section separated and conductively isolated from a second section by a gap or made up of a first metalized section separated and conductively isolated from a second metalized section by a non-metalized section whereby common mode noise caused by the capacitive coupling between foils of a series of adjacent jacks is reduced.
