Zusammenfassung:	An exhaust gas-treating device (1) for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, especially of a motor vehicle, is provided with a housing (2), which has a jacket (3) extending circumferentially on the side and at least one bottom (4). The homogenization of the exhaust gas flow is improved with a mixing housing (14), which is arranged in the interior space (23) of the housing (2) and which has a mixing chamber (15). An inlet (16) of the mixing housing passes through the bottom (4) and communicates with the mixing chamber (15). An outlet (17) of the mixing housing passes through the bottom (4) and communicates with the mixing chamber (15).
