Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to processing an image by using a statistical property of a reference image. An image enhancing apparatus according to the present invention includes: a first image processing unit (120) and a second processing unit (130) which receive an input image, receive statistical properties of a difference image, generate a filter based on the statistical properties of the difference image which have been received by the property receiving unit, and apply the filter to the input image so as to generate a filtered image; and an adder (140) which adds the filtered image to the input image so as to generate an output image.
