| Zusammenfassung: | A liquid discharge head includes a substrate including a plurality of nozzle arrays formed by arranging nozzles having heat generating elements generating thermal energy for discharging a liquid, and a plurality of common liquid chambers formed along the plurality of nozzle arrays to supply the liquid to the plurality of nozzle arrays, the substrate being divided into a plurality of substrate portions by the plurality of common liquid chambers. The substrate includes a first substrate portion having a first nozzle array among the plurality of nozzle arrays and a second substrate portion having a second nozzle array different from the first nozzle array and a thermal capacity larger than that of the first substrate portion. A heating area of each first heat generating element provided in the first nozzle array is smaller than that of each second heat generating element provided in the second nozzle array. |
